Comments: I wanted to make a tutorial or guide that would help others in the comic/manga world. This is part 3 and covers basically the process involved for when you want to scan your art and manga pages, and have them prepared for further and other uses.
In this tutorial I used my scanner, and Photoshop CS4, although it's generally the same idea for Photoshop 7.0 and later. If you have other programs that do the same thing as PS, but you know them better, then you can use them too. I have only ever used Photoshop, so I would only be able to answer questions regarding Photoshop.

how do you print onto card stock? isnt it too thick for a printer??

I have a printer that let's me adjust paper type in the settings. I think most printers let you adjust the type of paper, or thickness.
